I create kooky characters and miniature scenes using metal and wooden objects collected at thrift stores and garage sales.

Working with just a drill press and hand tools, my goal is to craft quality pieces that last, wherever possible choosing wood and metal parts over plastic, and employing wooden joinery or metal fasteners over adhesives.

Crazy-colourful, funky, fun, or especially, bizarre, are elements I like to incorporate in my art, with the sole goal of eliciting glee. If I can employ physics in the design…well, the bouncier, the better!
